Whether you are looking for an indoor studio pregnancy photoshoot or an outdoor maternity photoshoot, I am ready to seize these lovely moments in time, which will be cherished for years to come by you and your future babies.

Pregnancy is the only time in life when you’ll fall in love with someone you haven’t yet met. Pregnancy isn’t always easy. The extra emotions, fatigue, morning sickness, and difficulty to find a comfortable position to sleep are all pains that mothers go through, but knowing there is a baby growing inside you is one of the most rewarding experiences and amazing journeys you will go through. I feel that it is a real gift to be able to capture and encapsulate all that pregnancy represents in maternity photos.

If your little one has older siblings (or pet siblings) that you want to bring along to the session, they are more than welcome!. Once your family portraits have been taken, the other parent can take over while we capture your beautiful baby bump pictures.

FAQ

When is the best time to get your maternity photoshoot done?

I would suggest booking your pregnancy photoshoot somewhere between the 28 and 34 weeks (7 or 8 months) mark. This is the perfect time for maternity photos as your bump will be beautiful and round and fully showing, but the session won’t be so close to your due date that you are uncomfortable, or risk delivering before you make it to your maternity shoot session!

What should I wear for my pregnancy shoot?

The style of the shoot will really depend on what kind of pregnancy photography you would like. This is usually influenced by you own style as a couple. Some mothers like to wear pretty long flowy dresses for a softer look and feel to their pregnancy photos. Other couples prefer classic or modern pregnancy photoshoots with black or white t-shirts and jeans.

I am feeling insecure about how I look during my pregnancy and I am not sure I want my picture taken… what should I do?

This is a very natural and normal feeling that most mums-to-be experience, especially if it’s your first pregnancy. It is important to be kind to yourself and remember that you are growing a little baby inside of you… WOW! With that comes a lot of changes to your own body. Through my lens I see these changes as absolutely miraculous and stunning, and therefore these changes should be celebrated. My main priority as a professional photographer is to make you feel comfortable and great during the sessions and make you look absolutely gorgeous in your photographs. So please, trust me when I say, I will make you feel and look beautiful, so you can enjoy looking back at this precious time with fond memories.
